“Hi Julie, I did promise an email to you but waited until now, being after the fitting of the remake.

Firstly, I was somewhat taken back from our last phone call when you rang to say that you were remaking the door complete. I was very surprised indeed this was customer care at its best. My background in this industry is one of where a full remake would have been the last resort and to be honest I would probably have made the door leaf first, quite often the wrong decision and biting the bullet is often the best way. The Butlers were also taken, to the extent of paying me there and then, but like a lot of customers they had their doubts whether it would be made and when, but I assured them it would be perfect and that I would fit it personally. We fitted the doors on Monday and all things considered the experience has left them breathless to say the least and very happy indeed!

So, I would just to say “Thank you”, you have secured me as a customer but then there was very little doubt of me going elsewhere.

What is also pleasing and reassuring is, that in 10 years of trading with Sternfenster we have only had 2 issues (don’t like the word problem) one an small aluminium issue which we managed to sort on site and this one. A pat on the back is only 18 inches from a kick up the *rse.
