Green is not just a colour it's a commitment!

Currently most of the double glazing installed is specified to simply meet the current Building Regulations; however, as environmental issues become more important we need to be looking to reduced energy loss, it is a well established fact that windows account for up to 23% of the heat loss in domestic homes, so anything we can do to improve the thermal performance, reducing your heating bills and lowering carbon dioxide emissions is a bonus.

Recent progress in glazing technology has seen big improvements and following work by the British Fenestration Rating Council and the Energy Saving Trust windows can now be measured using the same A-G scale that is commonly found on white goods such as fridges and washing machines.

Most windows simply complying with building regulations would
be an E on the scale, the Energy Saving Trust only endorse
windows that achieve a C or higher.

Since May 2008 our standard
window has been upgraded to a B
rating
, but we are also able to
offer a competitive upgrade to an
A rated window.
